SiC Seals Performance

1. Ductility: Silicon carbide raw materials, with certain processing techniques, can be molded into blanks of various shapes and further processed to create the products customers require.

2. Corrosion Resistance: Pressureless sintered silicon carbide seals can be used under strong acid and alkali conditions without loss of sealing performance.

3. Wear Resistance: Through advanced processing techniques, the surface achieves a high-precision finish. Combined with the wear resistance of silicon carbide raw materials, silicon carbide sealing rings can withstand mutual friction. Under high temperatures, their wear resistance does not decrease.

4. High-Temperature Resistance: Due to the properties of silicon carbide raw materials, silicon carbide sealing rings possess high-temperature resistance. The specific high-temperature resistance varies depending on the processing method. Silicon carbide sealing rings produced by conventional sintering processes can be used at 1300 degrees Celsius, while those produced by pressureless sintering processes can reach 1600 degrees Celsius.
