Silicon Carbide (SiC) represents the pinnacle of ceramic membrane technology. 1. Advanced Filtration Mechanism


Semicorex Silicon Carbide Membranes operate on a pressure-driven separation process. As wastewater flows across the membrane surface, the pressure differential forces pure water through a precise 0.1-micron pore structure.

Selective Permeability: Due to the inherently hydrophilic and oleophobic (water-attracting and oil-repelling) nature of Silicon Carbide, organic substances like oil are effectively blocked at the surface.

Contaminant Isolation: Solids, pathogens, and various pollutants are retained on the membrane exterior, forming a concentrated layer.

Self-Cleaning Capability: To ensure long-term operational stability and prevent performance degradation, the system utilizes periodic backwashing. Reversing the water flow flushes the accumulated solids off the membrane surface, restoring flux and extending the lifespan of the filter.
