Silicon Carbide Columnar Membranes

The ceramic filter cartridge of Semicorex silicon carbide columnar membranes are made from high-purity silicon carbide fine powder, sintered via the recrystallization process at 2400℃. During sintering process, the silicon carbide undergoes a solid-gas-solid phase transition, resulting in a porosity of up to 45% and highly interconnected filtration channels.

Typically, Semicorex silicon carbide columnar membranes are composed of multiple hexagonal silicon carbide ceramic filter cartridges.
