Semicorex SiC flat membranes utilize the principle of submerged ultrafiltration to achieve highly efficient and precise water treatment. During operation, SiC membrane modules is fully submerged in the raw water or wastewater to be treated, and filtration is driven by negative pressure provided by the siphon or pump. Semicorex SiC flat membranes have numerous micropores distributed on their surface and inside. Relying on these micropores, SiC flat membranes allow small water molecules to pass smoothly through the membrane pores and flow from the central orifice of the membrane to the water production outlet. Meanwhile, the large contaminants like particles, colloids, bacteria, and oil droplets are effectively rejected, thus achieving precise separation and filtration.
The negative surface charge of Semicorex SiC Flat Membranes makes it difficult for colloids, suspended solids, oil droplets, and other substances to adhere. Routine backwashing can easily remove these substances, which significantly lower the risk of membrane fouling.
