Manufactured from high-density, fine-grain graphite, these Graphite Top Plates offer superior thermal stability and excellent resistance to thermal shock. For parts that operate at high temperatures and need to be lubricated, graphite products are used instead of metal. No lubricating oil is required during use, and maintenance is very convenient. For example, graphite bearings can be used for flat pull spokes and steering spoke bearings for producing flat glass, copper sleeves for tunnel kilns, and clamping spoke heads for edge drawing machines.


Compared with the metal shell of mobile phones, 3D glass processing is still somewhat difficult. In the 3D glass hot forming process, the glass needs to be softened by high-temperature heating and fixed in the mold to obtain the required shape. 3D glass hot bending has high requirements for graphite. Graphite is required to have high purity and high density. The high purity requirement is mainly to prevent the oxidation of graphite at high temperatures to produce bubbles, thereby affecting the surface finish; the high density requirement is to prevent the collapse of the graphite mold, to increase its mechanical strength as much as possible, and to ensure that the mold life is greatly improved. The surface finish of the mold cavity directly affects the surface effect of 3D glass. The surface of the mold cavity is not only related to fine polishing, but also closely related to the diameter of graphite particles. Only the smallest possible particle diameter can produce a sufficiently smooth mold cavity.
