Self-lubricating Graphite Bushings

Semicorex’s self-lubricating graphite bushing is a self-lubricating part made by embedding specially formulated solid graphite lubricating plugs into the copper alloy matrix with orderly arranged and appropriately sized holes. In actual operating conditions, solid graphite lubricating plugs gradually transfer to the friction surfaces between the shaft and the copper bushing, forming a uniform lubricating film. This lubricating film can effectively avoid the direct contact between metal components, thereby reducing component damage caused by friction between the shaft and the copper bushing.

This combination of a metal matrix and a solid lubricant makes full use of the superior properties of copper alloys and graphite.
