Semicorex Impregnated Graphite Crucible is a good-quality and cost-efficient product for various applications, the material efficiently longer the lifespan than the ordinary graphite.Semicorex provides customized products to meet customers’ needs.*
Graphite is a common material in industry, and there are many different graphite materials in artificial graphite, Semicorex can supply various customized graphite products, including isostatic graphite, porous graphite, graphite felt, carbon fiber composites, etc. And Semicorex Impregnated graphite crucible is one of our product, it is made by a high-pressure resin-impregnated graphite, which is high performance and low price to be suitable for different applications in Chemical Smelting.
There are butch of opposite points for this material, including:
1. Thermal Stability: Specially designed for rapid heating and cooling conditions, ensuring product reliability.
2. Corrosion Resistance: The uniform and dense matrix design slows down the corrosion process.
3. Impact Resistance: Graphite crucibles can withstand extremely high thermal shock, allowing for reliable processing in any industry.
4. Acid Resistance: The addition of special materials significantly improves crucible quality, exhibiting excellent acid resistance and greatly extending its service life.
5. High Thermal Conductivity: High fixed carbon content ensures excellent thermal conductivity, shortening dissolution time and significantly reducing oil consumption and other energy consumption.
6. Metal Contamination Control: Strict control of material composition ensures no metal contamination during dissolution.
7.Quality Stability: High-pressure forming technology and a robust quality assurance system further guarantee quality stability.
I also want to shortly introduce the manufacture of the impregnated graphite crucible. Graphite crucibles are easily oxidized in high-temperature air atmospheres (reaction begins at 450℃, and the oxidation rate reaches 0.5 mm/month at 1000℃), leading to thinner walls and reduced strength, making them a "consumable black hole" in smelting production. Effective anti-oxidation treatment can form a "protective layer" on the graphite surface, reducing the oxidation rate by more than 90%. For graphite crucibles with low density (1.8-1.85 g/cm³), the impregnation method reduces oxidation channels by filling pores, achieving low-cost efficiency improvement. The principle is to vacuum immerse the crucible in phenolic resin (70% solid content) at -0.1 MPa, allowing the resin to penetrate the open pores, and form a carbonaceous filling layer after curing.
