Semicorex Wet-Molded Felt is created by dispersing carbon fibers in a liquid medium and shaping them into a desired form through a controlled molding process. Once formed, the material is dried and heat-treated to achieve a stable carbon structure. This process results in a cohesive, monolithic felt with consistent density distribution and minimal structural discontinuities.


Compared to other carbon insulation materials, wet-molded felt typically has a lower density, which contributes to its superior thermal insulation properties.
