These fibers are first formed into a felt structure using a nonwoven process. For viscose-based materials, an impregnation step is incorporated to enhance performance. This is followed by pre-oxidation, carbonization, graphitization, and precise cutting to produce the final product. One of the most notable characteristics of this soft felt is its exceptionally low density, approximately 0.10 g/cm³. This makes it nearly one-tenth the density of water.
