Semicorex graphite self-lubricating bushings are composed of a cooper alloy matrix and solid graphite plugs. The friction surface of graphite self-lubricating bushings features multiple precision-machined holes orderly distributed, each filled with specially formulated solid graphite plugs. During operation, graphite particles are gradually released from the holes and transferred to the friction surface between the shaft and the bushing, creating a constant lubricating film. This graphite lubricating film eliminates direct metal-on-metal contact, significantly lowers the friction coefficient and minimizing component wear.


Self-lubricating performance

The self-lubricating function of Semicorex graphite self-lubricating bushings relies on their uniformly arranged graphite plugs. Under high-speed operation, the inter-layer slippage of graphite crystals forms a lubricating film that effectively separates metallic surfaces and minimizes friction. Additionally, with the consumption of graphite, internal graphite is continuously pushed to the surface to maintain a continuous lubricating film.
