Flexible Graphite Sheet

Graphite is a mineral formed from carbon crystals with a hexagonal layered lattice structure. Due to its unique structure, graphite possesses excellent properties, including high-temperature resistance (melting point 3850°C), low density, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, chemical stability, and plasticity. Semicorex Flexible Graphite Sheet is a foil material made from expanded graphite through simple hot pressing. This material inherits the inherent properties of graphite, providing a high-strength, highly conductive, and bend-resistant graphite foil. Graphite foil has been widely used in petrochemicals, thermally and electrically conductive substrates, gaskets, electromagnetic shielding, and energy-related equipment.

Flexible graphite sheet is a layered composite material made from natural flake graphite through chemical intercalation, high-temperature expansion, and calendering; it can also be called expanded graphite foil. Its core structural features are: 1. Flexible graphite paper is formed by rolling expanded graphite particles (0.1-1mm in diameter) into a thin film with a thickness of 0.05-1mm, retaining nanoscale pores (specific surface area 20-50m²/g) and possessing a porous structure. 2. The bonding between the layers of flexible graphite paper is achieved through van der Waals forces, without the addition of binders, resulting in higher flexibility compared to other types of graphite. 3. Fuel Cell Bipolar Plates: The distance between the positive and negative electrodes of a fuel cell significantly affects its power supply efficiency.
