Semicorex CCB carbon-ceramic brakes are manufactured from carbon fiber base ceramic matrix through the LSI ceramization process at 1500–1800 °C. Based on the carbon fiber length in the matrix, They can be divided into short-fiber CCB carbon-ceramic brakes and long-fiber CCB carbon-ceramic brakes. Unlike CCM brakes, Semicorex CCB carbon-ceramic brakes feature an additional silicon carbide coating during the manufacturing process, which gives them a glossy surface with a fine cracked texture, endowing CCB carbon-ceramic brakes with superior braking performance and extended service life.
Semicorex CCB carbon-ceramic brakes can maintain high coefficient of friction regardless of road conditions, whether dry or wet. Due to this stable braking performance, Semicorex CCB carbon-ceramic exhibit stale braking performance, offering shorter braking distances and safer braking effect than conventional brakes under the same operating conditions, especially in high-speed braking or frequent braking scenarios.
